Plan a Mission Trip
A place where believers are rooted deeply in God's Word
and raised up by Him to reach the world for Christ.
Start praying. As the leader, pray especially for yourself to be the leader your team needs you to be.
Decide the dates your team would like to attend. We will let you know immediately if your preferred dates are not available.
Church: Buy and cook your own food. Love offering of at least $15 per person per night in cash. There is a $20 per person/per day option for hiring a cook at the church.
Bible College: We buy and cook food for you, with some kitchen help from your team. Love offering of at least $25 per person per night in cash.
Times: We suggest that teams plan to arrive in Ensenada between 8 am and 8 pm.
Ages: Please keep in mind that all children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times to prevent injury and property damage.
Decide the ways your team feels led to serve.
Ministries: The construction of the Bible College is the main focus of the ministry at this time. Keep in mind that orphanage ministry may not be available due to overbooking.
Days: Enter the number of full days you would like to do each ministry. This is subject to change based on what we are able to schedule with partner ministries.
Budgets: Please prayerfully consider your budget for each ministry. Almost everything, from digging trenches to passing out tracts, requires at least some funding. For work projects we suggest a donation of $10-25 per person per day to pay for tools and materials. Please be aware of this important aspect of your visit.
Skills: If your work requires Spanish skills and you have no Spanish-speakers, please notify us.
As your team prepares, get your whole team praying regularly. Have them pray individually as the trips draws closer and consider meeting a few times as a group before to pray and seek the Lord.
Pack up: Get driving directions. Bring your travel documents and permission slips (if needed). Check our website or the Planning Guide for current travel document requirements. Distribute the Packing List in the Planning Guide to your team. Bring cash to cover your lodging and other expenses in Mexico.
You now are ready for your trip! Here are a few final tips while your team is serving together.
a) Please be sure to stay on schedule so that you will be a blessing to the local ministries.
b) Teams must exercise extreme stewardship of resources, such as electricity, water, and all other ministry resources.
c) Teams will be required to clean the kitchen, bathrooms, and other facilities DAILY.
d) Allow God to change your life through serving Him!
